AFX to FSC Project Announced
Given that the old style "*.afx" source files
can only be opened with Flight Shop or Aircraft Factory, both titles
which are out of print, we're undertaking a project to convert the
afx files into FSDS source files (*.fsc), from where you can either
open directly in FSDS, or by using the CVA conversion utility, convert
them to dxf and open them in gmax. While these afx files are low polygon,
and many older ones do not have moving parts, they are still useful
as either backdrops/references or LOD models. Remember, credit the
original builder if you use them in your projects!
